1. Initial Consultation (60 minutes)
A comprehensive review of your health history, symptoms, and goals. We’ll discuss whether hormone therapy may be right for you and order a hormone lab panel if needed.
2. Treatment Plan Follow-Up Visit (30 minutes)
Once your labs are back, we’ll meet to review results in detail. Together we’ll decide on the best treatment plan and begin your prescriptions.
3. Follow-Up Adjustment Visit (about 4–6 weeks after starting treatment) (30 minutes)
At this visit, we’ll check in on how you’re feeling, review your progress, and adjust your plan or prescriptions if needed.
4. Ongoing Refill Visits (every 3–6 months) (20 minutes)
Quick virtual visits to renew prescriptions, monitor your progress, and ensure you’re supported in every season.
Bioidentical hormones are hormones that are chemically identical to the ones your body naturally produces, such as estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Because they match your body’s own hormones, they tend to be well tolerated and effective in restoring balance. At Grace Hormone Health, we use FDA-approved bioidentical hormone therapies when appropriate, so you can feel confident in both their safety and quality.
Not always. Menopause and perimenopause are clinical diagnoses, meaning they’re based on your symptoms and health history. Lab testing isn’t required to begin treatment, but it can provide helpful information about your hormone levels and overall health. At Grace Hormone Health, we often recommend a baseline hormone panel so we can better tailor your care and monitor your progress, but it’s not a barrier to starting therapy.
Every woman is different. Some notice improvements in sleep, mood, or energy within weeks, while other symptoms like hot flashes or weight changes may take a few months to improve. We adjust treatment along the way to help you reach your goals.
Hormone therapy is safe for most women when prescribed thoughtfully and monitored regularly. We use evidence-based practices and ongoing follow-up to ensure your treatment remains effective and appropriate for your health history.
After your initial consultation, you’ll have a treatment plan visit where we review your symptoms, health history, and (if done) any lab results. This is when prescriptions are typically started. After that, most women have follow-ups every 3–6 months to monitor progress, adjust treatment as needed, and renew prescriptions.
In many cases, yes. While visits at Grace Hormone Health are cash-pay, some lab work and prescriptions may be covered by your insurance, depending on your plan.
Every woman’s journey through perimenopause and menopause is unique. By completing this short survey, Your Voice Matters Survey, you’ll help shape the resources and support we create next. Thank you for guiding me with this work!
